welcome to the website of Pathological Anatomy Unit of the Hospital " G.F. Ingrassia”  of the  Azienda Sanitaria Provinciale (ASP) of Palermo.

        Our higly professional staff is available to respond to any request relative to histological and cytological diagnosis.

        High professional experiences and new techniques of molecular biology allow us to carry out investigations with diagnostic-prognostic and clinical-therapeutic implications.

        We serve all clinics of the ASP of Palermo and we accept, also, samples from any clinical structure, accompanied by the prescription of the attending physician.

        Our company plays a important role in cancer prevention: in fact, we participate to screening programs to identify neoplastic diseases at an early stage (mammalian, colon-rectal and cervical carcinoma) so allow timely and effective therapeutic interventions and systematically to reduce mortality caused by  these diseases.

        It is a remarkable commitment.
